Economic Impact
Nikola Tesla's inventions has caused some major economical impacts in the United States. For starters, Nikola Tesla's AC invention brought in tons of money for the economy. The AC was used in many new inventions and is still being used in today's inventions. This brought money into the economy and raised new potentials in the industry. Tesla's radio patent has caused some economical impact as well. Back then, their was a fight between Tesla and Marconi on who should get the radio patent. It ended up going to Marconi because he had financial backers and the U.S didn't have to pay royalties. If the U.S had to pay royalties, it could have affected the economy in a bad way. In the 1900's, they decided to take away the patent from Marconi and give it to Tesla. Tesla's electric motor brought around some economic impact too. It could be put into new inventions so it wouldn't need gas or oil, which is more expensive, and just need electricity, which is less expensive. Back in the early 1900's, Tesla discovered something that made scientists have to rewrite technical literature. This, economically, brought new discoveries and inventions to the table and brought in more money for the market. Back to Nikola Tesla's inventions, a way to show that the AC produced revenue and jobs is the hydro electric power plant. This plant distributed power to homes which causes most inventions to work which also makes money. Overall, all of Tesla's inventions made some economical impact.
